1. Appreciate any Mughal or Deccani miniature-painting included in your course of study duly based on the following points :
(a) Title and name of the artist / sub-school.
(b) Medium & technique
(c) Subject-matter
(d) Composition
 
2. Describe the main features of the Bengal School of Painting.
3. Which human life – values are shown in any of the following art-works of the contemporary (Modern) Indian Art ? Explain briefly :
(1) Triumph of Labour (a sculpture)
(2) Mother Teresa (a painting)
(3) Man, Woman and Tree (a graphic-print)
 
3. Why do you like or dislike the miniature – paintings of the Rajasthani or Pahari school ? Give your appropriate reasons in short, based on the aesthetic – parameters.
 
4. Identify any relevant painting of the Mughal or Deccan school included in your course of study comprising of the following features and explain them in that painting accordingly :
(a) The Mughal School of Miniature Painting was secular, in which Hindu Gods – Goddesses and saints were also depicted.
(b) The tall and slender female figures were rendered with fine and rhythmic lines in the Deccani School of Miniature Painting.
 
5. Mention the names of any five famous painters and sculptors, who contributed to the National Freedom Movement.
 
6. Mention the name(s) of any three sculptors, a painter and a graphic-artist of the Contemporary (Modern) Indian Art included in your course of study.
 
7. Mention the names of any five painters of the Rajasthani and Pahari Schools of Miniature Painting included in your course of study, which you like most.
