Result Statistics All India / Delhi Secondary School Examination (Class X), 2011

In total 1062210 candidates were registered for class X examination this Year. This amounts for an increase of about 17.66 % candidates over that of last year.

Highlights ( Except Guwahati, Bhubaneswar and Patna)

Percentage of candidates Eligible for Qualifying Certificate in 2010 = 89.28
Percentage of candidates qualified for admission in higher classes in 2011 = 96.90

• Girls do better than boys. Percentage of girls qualified for admission in higher classes is 97.55 as compared to that of boys which is 96.44.
• Over all percentage of candidates qualified for admission in higher classes in Chennai Region is 98.92 which is the highest as compared to other regions.
