CBSE AND INTEL : Artificial intelligence (AI) FOR YOUTH VIRTUAL SYMPOSIUM

AI For Youth’ Virtual Symposium Tuesday - Saturday, October 13 - 17, 2020 10 AM - 5:30 PM Agenda 

Dear Parent / Guardian, CBSE, in collaboration with Intel, is organizing an ‘AI For Youth’ virtual symposium. The symposium will enable Youth to learn about AI readiness skills and other emerging technologies from global leaders, gain an immersive experience and witness AI social impact projects created by their own peers. This symposium will be open for Students (class 8 and above), Principals and Teachers of all schools pan India. The attendees will be able to access sessions on diverse topics by national and international speakers, visit the showcase zone and interact with presenters, join in the experiential zone and attend live webinars. A detailed agenda is attached as Annexure I For your child/ ward to register to attend the symposium, please sign and share this form back giving your consentto allow your child to attend the AI For Youth virtual symposium–organized by CBSE and Intel Corporation (“Intel”) from October 13 - 17, 2020(“Activity” or “Activities”). As a co-host of the Symposium, Intel would like the opportunity to use the content from the Symposium to create internal presentations, case studies, audio/video presentations, advertising, web content; annual reports, and demonstration programs (“Activities”). These Activities are organized by Intel.By consenting and signing this letteras the parent/guardian of the child, you are granting your permissionto Intel to use your Properties listed below in those Activities.

This symposium will be open for Students (class 8 and above), Principals and Teachers of all schools pan India. In addition, we may also attempt on setting a Guinness World Record for Building AI readiness skills in students during the symposium. More details will be shared post registration. In this regard, the Heads of all CBSE affiliated schools are requested to circulate this information with students and teachers and encourage them to participate in the symposium.

Being an online event, it is important to gain consent of parents and guardians. Thus, to complete the registration process and get access to symposium every student must share a consent form (Annexure II) signed by the parent. This form once signed can be uploaded at https://bit.ly/2G5vW4O or can be sent to help@aiforyouth.org along with the name and email address of the child to pre-register for the event. Principals and Teachers can simply send in an e-mail at help@aiforyouth.org sharing their name, designation, school name and email id. In case of larger number of teachers participating from the same school please send in a single e-mail with all details.

Depending on the specific Activity, Intel may need to reference or copy the Properties, in whole or in part;
incorporate the Properties into any form of fixed media; combine copies or partial copies of the Properties with
materials owned by the Provider or third parties; create new content; and make copies as reasonably necessary
for an Activity, including for display or distribution to third parties via any form of electronic or printmedia.

OTHER TERMS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:

• I warrant that I have the authority to execute this release on behalf of my child.
• Intel maintains editorial control of the materials created for an Activity.
• Intel has no obligation to display the Properties, or to provide compensation for their use.
• Intel does not acquire any ownership interest in the Properties as a result of this Letter.
