Ministry of Defence, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Recruitment and Assesment Centre (RAC), RAC invites applications for Regisrtation of Students with Scholastic Aptitudes(ROSSA).

Eligibility : Scholars with 1st Class BE/ B.Tech. in Engineering or 1st Class Post Graduation in Science/ Psychology/ Mathematics, who have successfully defended their PhD thesis between 01 Jan 2008 to 30 June 2009.
Subject/ Disciplines : Engineering/ Life Sciences/ Basic Sciences/ Psychology/ Mathematics with area of research having direct interest/ relevance to DRDO.
Age Limit:  Not exceeding 35 years. Relaxable by 5 years for PH category.
post Scale of Pay - Scientist ‘C’: in the Pay scale PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600 plus amount equivalent to two increments and allowances & facilities as applicable to Central Govt. employee. Central Government employee i.e. Leave Travel Concession, Medical Facilities, Advance for Car, House Building and Computer, Professional Update Allowance, Group Insurance, CSD etc.

Last Date of Application Submission: The Closing Date for applicants who have successfully defended their dates:
(i) Between 01 Jan 08 - 31 Dec 08 is 30 days from the date of publication .(ii) Between 01 Jan 09 - 30 Jun 09 is 30 Sep 2009.
