Founded only six years ago in 2002, the Global Indian International School (GIIS)
today has become a byword for quality education in Asia both among overseas
Indians and non-Indians alike. From one campus in the heart of Singapore in
2002, GIIS now has three large campuses in Singapore with a total  of over 4000

International School (GIIS) is an independent co-educational day-boarding school
offering India's CBSE curriculum from Standard 1 to 12, as well as the

2011 GIIS Junior College Scholarships

2 year Scholarships will be awarded for Standards 11 & 12, CBSE or IB, for
the 2011–2012 session. The scholarship worth S$ 66,000* per student includes all
tuition fees and boarding expenses. This scholarship amount also includes an
annual allowance of S$2400, settling allowance of S$500, one time return airfare
from India to Singapore. Subsidized medical benefits will also be given. No bond
is attached to GIIS Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 85% or equivalent grade in Std 10 Pre-Board exam, in Stds 8 & 9 final
exams, CBSE or IGCSE or ICSE or any State Board (with English as 1st language).
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test in April 2011 to be
held at Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Nagpur,
Ahmedabad, Surat and Trichy. Written test will include General Ability,
Mathematics and English. Interviews will be held inJune 2011. Board Exam mark
sheets to be provided on declaration of results.

Pre-Board exam, Stds 8 & 9 final exams, 2 passport size photographs
extra-curricular achievements and a detailed CV/Profile of applicant to
