Drawing or Painting from Nature

Theme A

Each candidate must be provided with a spray of PETUNIA or NASTURTIUM
flowers with some leaves and two buds. The candidates may be allowed to
handle it in any way i.e. keep it on the desk or table. Special attention should be
paid to form, structure, tone and colour.
Note: Where it is not possible to get the required flower, a similar flower
available may be provided. The name of the flower must be mentioned.

OR

Theme B

A detailed study of a flowering MARIGOLD (GENDA) plant in a pot.
Candidates should draw and paint the plant from sight in relation to its natural
background. Special attention should be paid to form, structure and composition.
