About Kerala Board:
Kerala Board of Public Examinations functions as "Department of General Education" of Government of Kerala Part of the State Department of Education and it holds the Authority to conduct two major secondary school examinations. The board was established in 1949.
Exams Conducted by Kerala Board:
- SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) Examination
- HCLC Exam (Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate) Examination
Main Functions:
- To Conduct Higher Secondary School Examination
- To Grant recognition to aspiring schools
- To define course structure and syllabus for 10+2 exam.
- To arrange suitable facilities for teachers students
- To make education level equivalent to other boards.
