Central Board of Secondary Education has revised the curriculum for the entrepreneurship elective for this academic year in keeping with changing market trends.

A release from the board has said that in the current climate of economic changes, influenced by explosive knowledge creation and exponential technology growth, the need to modify and infuse changes is a necessary step to upgrade and update the existing entrepreneurship curriculum.

"It is even more required so as to bring it on a par in rigour and content with other academic disciplines based on competency skills," said Sadhana Parashar, CBSE director of academics, research, training and innovation, in a letter to principals of affiliated schools across the country.
