Entrance Examination For Sainik School Admission

Admissions: class VI and IX 2009-10

Introduction:

According to a release, boys aged between 10 and 11 years as on July 1, 2009, are eligible for admission to Class VI. For Class IX, they have to be between 13 and 14 years of age as on July 1,2009, and should be studying in Class VIII in a recognised school. 

Application Procedure:

Candidates belonging to general or Defence categories should remit Rs. 325 for the prospectus and application forms. For those in the SC/ST categories, the fee is Rs.285. The amount is inclusive of registration fee, cost of old question paper and postal charges.
