Doodle 4 Google 2010
At Google we like to have a little bit of fun with our corporate logo by redesigning it from time to time. This Google 'doodle' is a fun way for us to celebrate different events and people. Doodle for Google is a competition where we invite young people to design the Google logo in their very own style based on a different theme.
This Year’s Theme: My Dream for India
This year we’re calling all young doodlers in India to draw their doodle based on the theme - My Dream for India.
We want you to fast forward to the future and capture your image of what you think India will be like 20 years from today.
- A cleaner, greener India
- Freedom from poverty
- Education for all
- The world’s center of technology
- Better roads, futuristic cities
There’s no right or wrong answer— we’re hoping that you will bring your own fresh, creative vision for the future of India to the competition. The top doodles in India will finally enter an online vote on this Doodle 4 Google site. At this stage, the Indian public will help decide the winning doodles that best capture this year’s theme.
Remember, any student between class 1 and 10 from any school in India can participate. All you have to do is register your name and then follow the instructions to send in your doodle. Some schools also submit all their doodles together so you should check with your school when submitting your doodle.
