Group Mathematics Olympiad

As you are aware that the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi conducted Group Mathematics Olympiad Competition on 5th December, 2010 for the students studying in its affiliated schools. The answer sheets of the students were evaluated centrally at CBSE Headquarters through a team of subject experts in order to select the students who would be eligible to participate in the next phase of the competition as CBSE group candidates.

It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that Ms/ Mr. _____________________ bearing Roll no. __________________ of your school who participated in the CBSE Group Mathematics Olympiad has been placed in the Merit list from CBSE group. The students are now eligible to appear for Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) as a member of CBSE group. The said competition will be held on 6th February, 2011 from 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm at the centres to be decided by the Regional coordinators appointed by National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM). I extend my heartiest congratulations to the candidate as well as to you and to the teachers who trained the children.

Please find enclosed the list of Regional Mathematical Olympiad Coordinators for the conduct of the next phase of the competition. The information in this list may be made available to the concerned candidate for participation in INMO. The school or the selected candidate may contact the Regional Coordinator at the earliest possible to get further information in this regard. A copy of this letter may be given to the candidate to show it to the Regional coordinator, if need be.
