CBSE Takes Its Students to Japan
In an attempt to engage Indian students and
teachers in cross-cultural understanding and bonding with their Japanese
counterparts, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has
asked principals to send in student and teacher nominations for Japan-East Asia
Network of Exchange for Students and Youth Programme (JENESYS).
According to the letter issued by the ministry of human resource development (MHRD), a group of 182 students will be visiting Japan as part of JENESYS.
CBSE is encouraging teachers and students to be a part of the JENESYS programme so as to deepen mutual understanding among youngsters and to lay the foundation for a future bond among the youth in Asian and Oceanian countries along with mutual understanding and friendship.
