CENTRAL COUNSELING BOARD

As per the notified cut off score and the candidates declared eligible up to the notified Rank shall be called to appear for counselling. In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks, inter-se merit of such candidates shall be determined as follows:
- B.E/B.Tech - By marks obtained in Mathematics and then in Physics in the AIEEE and then by age (preference to older candidates).
- B.Arch/B.Planning - By marks obtained in Aptitude Test and then in Mathematics in the AIEEE and then by age (preference to older candidates).
Rules For Rechecking/Re-Evaluation of Answer Sheets:
- Since the AIEEE answer sheets are machine graded with extreme care and repeatedly scrutinized, there is no provision for rechecking/re-evaluation of answer sheets. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
Counselling, Seat Allocation, Document Verification and Admissions
Final list of institutions admitting students (with intake in each discipline and category as per reservation) through AIEEE - 2011, including counselling procedure, counselling schedule and counselling centres would be contained in the Information Brochure for Counselling and it shall also be released on AIEEE website in May* 2011. The Central Counselling Board shall send by post the Information Brochure for Counselling only to the candidates to be called for counselling.
Verification of documents would be done at the time of counselling/admission. The purpose would be to verify different records regarding identification, age, qualifying examination, state of eligibility and category of the candidate. On failing to establish of any of the documents, the candidates will not be considered for admission.
SC, ST and PH candidates will be required to produce original certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission. All correspondence regarding counselling and refund of the amount paid to the Central Counselling Board (CCB) or any of the participating institution should be made with the concerned authorities.
TENTATIVE ADMISSION SCHEDULE:
The abbreviations used herein under are as follows:
- CCB: Central Counseling Board, RC: Reporting Center,
- PI: Participating Institute.
The following Options can be exercised by the candidates after the first, second and third round allotments:
- Option-I: Candidates who wish to be considered in the next round for all of their higher preference choices (i.e. across institutes).
- Option-II: Candidates who wish to be considered in the next round for their higher preference choices only within the Institute allotted to them.
- Option-III: Candidates who wish to finalise the seat allotted to them. (In such cases candidates seat is frozen and will not be allowed to change seat in subsequent rounds, except during internal sliding)
- ONLINE Registration, filling up the choices, Indicative seat availability (MOCK Counseling) and Locking. Locking facility will be enabled only after June 18, 2011: June 11 – 23, 2011 (Sat-Thu)
- First round of seat allotment : June 25, 2011 (Sat)
- Candidate personal reporting at any one of the Reporting Centers (RC) against the first round of allotment.: June 26 – July 2, 2011 (Sun-Sat)
- Second round of seat allotment : July 5, 2011 (Tue)
- Candidate personal reporting at Reporting Centers against the second round of allotment. : July 6 – 10, 2011 (Wed-Sun)
- Candidate Personal Reporting at reporting Centers against the third round of allotment : July 14 –17, 2011 (Thu-Sun)
- Candidates of Round 1, 2 and 3 who are not satisfied with their allotment and do not wish to get admitted to the allotted institute, but still wish to remain in consideration for further rounds of allotment, can surrender their present allotment and be in contention for further rounds: July 14-17, 2011 (Thu-Sun)
- Candidates of all the three rounds who are satisfied with the allotted seat or institute MUST get admitted to the ALLOTTED INSTITUTE : July 18-21, 2011 (Mon-Thu)
- Modification of choices by candidates who have not got any seat allotted so far and those candidates who got their old choices unlocked by surrendering their previous allotment (as per 7b above).: July 18 – 22, 2011. (Mon-Fri)
Classes begin on July 21, 2011 in all the Participating Institutes
- Fourth round of allotment : July 25, 2011 (Mon)
- Getting admitted to Allotted Institute against the fourth round of allotment. (Candidates who have already been admitted to the allotted institute after third round will remain in that institute only). : July 25 –29, 2011 (Mon-Fri)
- Modification of choices by candidates who have not got any seat allotted so far and those candidates who had got their old choices unlocked by surrendering their previous allotment : July 29-31, 2011 (Fri-Sun)
- Fifth round of allotment : Aug 2, 2011 (Tue)
- Getting admitted to Allotted Institute against the fifth round of allotment. (Candidates who have already been admitted to the institute after fourth round will remain in that institute only): August 3– August 7, 2011 (Wed-Sun)
- Internal sliding amongst the candidates who have got
admitted in an institute.
Internal sliding is based on branch choices within that institute filled by the candidates during admission in an institute from July 18-21, 2011 ; July 25-29, 2011 and August 3-7, 2011.

- Registration for spot round. All candidates eligible for central counseling, except those who have been admitted to an institute are eligible for registering in spot round. : August 11- 13, 2011 (Thu-Sat)
- Spot round of seat allotment : August 14, 2011 (Sun)
- Getting admitted to Allotted Institutes against the spot round of allotment. : August 16 – 20, 2011 (Tue-Sat)
