CBSE Inter School Sports & Games Competitions 2013-14

The Board organises CBSE Inter School Sports & Games Competitions in as many as 20 disciplines for the benefit of its students’ of over 9000 Independent Category of Schools affiliated to it. For being successful in life, sports play an important role as it develop interpersonal relationship, respect for others, sense of sharing, tolerance, team spirit, will & determination to win, face success & failures in equal proportion,  stress management and make one learn to follow rules to lead a disciplined life.

Last year the step initiated by the Board for creating better transparency in its sports by introducing the  Dope Test has been well received by the participating schools. This year the Board is pleased to  announce that the Principal & the Organizing Secretary of all such schools that organize the CBSE Inter  School Sports & Games Competitions at any of the levels would be recognized at National Level by the  Board for their contribution for the promotion of Sports & Games at grass-root level. The Board intends to plan the CBSE Inter School Sports & Games Competitions Calendar for the year  2013-14. To make it even more transparent, the schools this year thus must apply online to organise any  of these competitions and also register online its participating students with the Board. I earnestly  request all the Principals to initiate & join hands with the Board by organising these competitions.  I) The schools that wish to organise any of the competitions, shall first register themselves & fill-in  the proforma following these steps:

Step1: Visit Board’s Webiste Academic Section 

Step2: Phy. Edu. & Sports

Step3: Register using Affiliation Number & Email ID already registered with the Board (On successful registration – A password would be sent to the given Email ID)

Step4: Login using Affiliation Number & Password

Step5: Fill-in the Proforma, submit it, retain the print of it & log-out

Step6: Forward the Entry Proforma duly Counter-signed & Stamped by School Principal to J D(Sports).

IMPORTANT: The schools wishing to organize any of the competitions, must apply online before 30 thJune 2013.

II) The schools that wish to participate in any of the competitions, must first register every student/player of the school with the Board & later fill-in the Entry Proforma following these steps:

Step1: Login using Affiliation Number & Password

Step2: The School shall register every student whom it wishes to participate in CBSE Sports. On successful registration, each student will be provided with a Unique ID. The print-out of ID generated be carried along by the student during participation.

Step3: Fill-in the Entry Proforma using the students’ UIDs. On entering the UIDs in the <list of students’ column> the details of students would be entered automatically in the proforma.

Step4: After successfully filling the Entry Proforma, the school may print it. The print-out of Entry proforma duly countersigned by the School Principal must be carried along at the time of reporting at the venue.

IMPORTANT: For registration of students & filling-up the Participation Proforma, the entry will open from 15th June to 31st July 2013. No Participation Proforma would be accepted after 31st July 2013.

Please note, henceforth no Organizing School will communicate with the schools in its Cluster/Zone, in regard to the competition. The schools interested in taking part must regularly visit the Board’s  Academic Website head under “Phy. Edu. & Sports” for updates.

Also, for uploading the information on Board’s Website, immediately forward the details & photographs of students from your school who have participated in any of the disciplines organized by the Board & represented India in International Sports & Games Competition.
