About KLEE:

Kerala Law Entrance Examination is abbreviated as KLEE. KLEE is the under graduate entrance examination which is conducted by The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE, Thiruvananthapuram and Government of Kerala. Candidates who are willing to get their graduation degree in law courses are supposed to give KLEE entrance examination.

About CEE Kerala:

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations was established in 1983 as a separate set up for the conduct of Entrance Examinations for admission to Professional Courses in the State as per G.O.(Ms) No.31/83/H.Edn. dated 19.02.1983. The Higher Education Department in the Secretariat is functioning as the administrative department of the Commisionerate of Entrance Examinations. The Commissionerate has been conducting thirteen Entrance Examinations, both for Undergraduate and Post Graduate Professional Courses. Of these examinations conducted in a time bound manner and catering to the needs of the aspirants of Professional Courses, the Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examinations (KEAM) is the major one in which near about one lakh seventy thousand candidates participate every year. The other courses for which the CEE conducts Entrance Examinations are Three year LLB, Five Year LLB, LLM, MD Homoeo, MDS, MD Ayurveda, M Sc Nursing, PG Medical and PG Super Speciality.

In addition to the conduct of Entrance Examinations, the Commissionerate is making allotments to 5 Courses, KEAM, LLB 3 Year, LLB 5 Year, LLM and P G Medical Courses. The allotments to rest of the courses are made by the authorities concerned. The Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) followed in the admission to Medical Engineering and Agricultural Courses is an online procedure opened up to the candidate through a candidate friendly procedure of option exercise, subsequent allotment and fee remittance at the designated Bank. All the allotments made by the Commissionerate will be on the basis of the rank list, and by observing the principles of reservations and will be in accordance with the orders of the Honourable Courts of Law and the orders issued by the Government. The Commissionerate is usually making allotments to all the Government seats in Government Colleges, the Government and Management quota seats in Government Controlled Self-financing Colleges and the seats made available by Private Self-financing Managements to Government for allotment.
