1. Enumerate the number of Chakras and Melas. Write the names of Chakras and Melas in order.

2. Give in notation of the Uttaranga part of a Varnam of your choice in two speeds.

3. Give the Lakshanas of Anandabhairavi raga or Keeravani raga briefly.

4. Compare and contrast Kriti and Kirtana briefly.

5. Write short notes on any three of the following :

(a) Purvanga Melas
(b) Svara Sahitya
(c) Sangatis
(d) Yati

6. Explain the basic principles adopted in writing notation with reference to Carnatic music.
