Dutch Children Film Festival, India-2021

After the great success of last year, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, New Delhi is pleased to announce the 2nd edition of the Dutch Children Film Festival. Making it a tradition, this year, too, we have an interesting line up of children's films to be screened to mark the occasion of National Children's day of India. The film festival will be online and will take place every weekend from 13 November until 5 December. The bouquet of four award-winning films to be screened during the weekend brings Dutch family, culture and entertainment digitally to your home. 20-21 November 

• The sudden death of his mum turns the family life of 8 year-old Nino upside down. With his dad suffering from depression and his big brother in a street gang, Nino Is left to his own devices. But Nino has a special talent: he can talk to animals! His pet rabbit Bobby can offer him comfort, but when will Nino get his family back?

The Horror Bus

27-28 November

• Based on the children’s book by author Paul van Loon. Eleven-year-old Onnoval is an outsider at school. He writes ghost stories and poetry! He writes a story in which he takes revenge on the other children. But when the devilish Ferluci gets his hands on the story, things start to get very real indeed. If Onnoval does not rewrite his story very soon, everything will go horribly wrong. But that means he must get his story back from Ferluci…

Miss Sing Song

4-5 December 

• A musical film about the adventurous journey of Gifty who travels to Surinam to find both her mother and her roots.
