About Us:

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Mumbai came into existence in 1970. It is located inside I.I.T Campus, Powai, Mumbai. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Mumbai is one of the 18 Regional Offices of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

There are 47 Kendriya Vidyalayas (Including Two 2nd shift vidyalayas) with 58053 students as on 31-07-2012 under the jurisdiction of this region spread over different parts of State of Maharashtra excluding Nagpur. Out of 47 Kendriya Vidyalayas, there are 35 Kendriya Vidyalayas in Defence Sector, 1 in Project
