CBSE is going to start online application facility for private candidates from 2016

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to introduce online application facility for private candidates starting from 2016.

“Online system of submission of applications for private candidates or those appearing for improvement of performance for Classes X and XII has been introduced, and will be implemented for the 2016 batch,” a statement from the CBSE read.

“Female candidates who are bona fide residents of Delhi can avail this facility. Also those candidates who have appeared for the Classes X and XII examinations of CBSE and placed in NIOP [Not Eligible for Improvement of Performance] category [Class X], compartment category [Class XII] or failure candidates, pass-outs of 2015 wishing to improve their performance and pass-outs desirous of appearing for an additional subject can submit their application online,” it added.
