The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the
dates for the fourth edition of the Students' Global Aptitude Index (SGAI)
recently. The assessment has been advanced and would now be held on November 16
instead of January next year.
With a view to make quality education accessible to students,
especially amongst the marginal rural areas, the Central Board of Secondary
Education (CBSE) launched the first ever Career Counselling and Guidance Centre,
in Lakhimpurkhiri, Uttar Pradesh recently.
All India Medical Entrance Test that CBSE plans to conduct on
4 May, 2014 would be known as AIPMT even though the exam pattern, structure and
syllabus for the exam will be the same as that of NEET UG 2013 (National
Eligibility cum Entrance Test.)
Ushering in a new era in examination system, the Central
Board of Secondary Education has formally issued notices to schools across the
country to implement ‘open book’ section for classes 9 and 11 final exams
starting March 2014.
