Panu Sikyong Tulku was the son of Panu Thutop Narngval. After
the death of his father he was consecrated as the tenth Panu of Sikkim,
Mayellyang. Though the succession of Panu Sikyong Tulku was very short he
introduced Lepcha language in Tibetan Boarding School at Gangtok in the Year
1913. He appointed Ren.Nurshing Lepcha of Pakyong, East Sikkim, as Lepcha
Language teacher. He is remembered as the first Lepcha Language teacher in his
