SECTION A

१. निम्नलिखित पदों को १ - २ वाक्यों (प्रत्येक) में समझाइए : १x५=५
(क) शैडो वर्क (Shadow work)
(ख) बाघ
(ग) पश्मीना
(घ) पोचा पिलिया
(ङ) अलीμजरिन (Alizarine)

Explain the following terms in 1 – 2 sentences each :
(a) Shadow work
(b) Bagh
(c) Pashmina
(d) Pomcha Piliya
(e) Alizarine

२. बताइए कि निम्नलिखित कथन सही हैं या गलत : १x५=५
(क) चम्बा की क‹ढाई में मोटिफ कडा फारसी (Persian) प्रभाव दर्शाते हैं ।
(ख) तेलिया रुमाल नवजात शिशु की माँ को भेंट किए जाते थे ।
(ग) qसगल इकत्त में मोटिफों की अच्छी तरह से परिभाषित स्पष्ट रूपरेखाएँ होती हैं ।
(घ) कलमकारी में नीला रंग भगवान कृष्ण को चित्रित करने के लिए प्रयोग में लाया जाता है ।
(ङ) छपाई से पहले कप‹डों को चिकना परिसज्जन (smooth finish) करने के लिए माँड दिया जाता है ।

५. डबल-इकत्त (double-ikat) तकनीक समझाइए । पारम्परिक डबल-इकत्त कपडे का एक उदाहरण दीजिए । १+१
Explain the double-ikat technique. Give an example of a traditional double-ikat fabric.

६. प्राकृतिक रंगों (वूशी) के दो स्रोत व उनसे प्राप्त होने वाले रंग बताइए । १+१
Give two sources of natural dyes and the colours obtained from them.

७. श्रीकलाहस्ती में कलमकारी के डिμजाइनों का क्या प्रेरणा स्रोत है ? दो उदाहरण दीजिए । २
What is the source of inspiration for designs of Kalamkaris in Srikalahasti ? Give two examples.
