Grading of CBSE-affiliated schools, a move that the board will introduce
shortly, has given parents a reason to cheer, but it has also made school
managements nervous.

Teachers Training Workshop on Health & Beauty Studies from

2013, the following participants have been selected for attending the 3 days
teachers training workshop on Health & Beauty Studies which will be held from
16th September, 2013 to 18th September, 2013 at 2nd floor Conference Hall, CBSE
Headquarters, Preet Vihar, Delhi in association with VLCC Institutes, Delhi.
CBSE to lay emphasis on gender sensitisation, life skills
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will lay more
emphasis on life skills, value education and gender sensitisation as an integral
part of the curriculum.
The board is organising an international summit for schools
affiliated to it to discuss the issue and later integrate it in its curriculum.
Keeping uniqueness and exposure in mind, CBSE will be conducting
summit at two levels comprising one international and 14 regional summits in the
period from September till November.
Rani Laxmi Bai Memorial School in city will host one of the 14
regional summits.
This initiative is in tandem with the educational reforms to
empower the affective domain of the learners so that they are able to develop a
sense of self-confidence, ecosensitivity and right approaches to life processes,
health, wellbeing and gender.

Each academic year has been divided into two terms : Term I - April to September (Jan to June for winter closing schools) Term II - October to March (July to December for winter closing
schools)
All the students shall be required to undergo various School based
assessments in Co-Scholastic Areas in Classes IX and X.

It is notified for information of the General Public that CBSE has decided to
provide photo-copy of the Evaluated Answer Books (s). If a candidate wishes to
request for the same he/she is required to go through the following rules and
modalities:
Registration of Class IX/XI students for 2013-14 – Online
In order to achieve optimum accuracy and timely receipt of data pertaining to
Registration of candidates of Class IX/XI of your school for the academic
session 2013-14, CBSE has extended the facility of onlinesubmission of details for Registration. The facility shall be made
available from 16th August, 2013.
For online submission, the link ‘Online Registration of Class IX/XI for
2013-14’ may be clicked in the website
www.cbse.nic.in.
The schools need to register themselves before proceeding for online
submission. Click on the link “Register School”. For registering you may
use your affiliation number as user-ID and password (Same which you used last
year for online registration for IX/ XI/ X and XII).
While registering Schools are advised to change the password and the changed
password may be noted for future use and kept confidential to avoid misuse.
The enclosed “Instructions and Procedure for online submission of details of
students for Registration” may be downloaded and read carefully before start of
work.
The result of All India/Delhi Improvement of Performance
Examination 2013 (class X) held in July 2013 will be declared on
10.08.2013. The result will also be available on the CBSE website
www.cbse.nic.in at
4.00 P.M. on 10.08.013. The schools under the Delhi Region are advised to
collect the result from the office of the respective Deputy Director of
Education, Delhi after 2:00 p.m. on 12.08.2013.
Private candidates are advised to collect the result from
their Examination Centre. The result will not be available at the office
of the Board. The Public is advised not to come to the Board’s office for
collection of result.
National Council of Educational Research and Training
National Talent Search Examination, 2013-14
National Talent Search Scheme started in the year 1963. The purpose of the
scheme is to identify talented students and nurture them. This year NCERT will
conduct the National Talent Search Examination for students studying in Class X.
