Applications are invited from Female Indian Citizens as per
Citizenship Act 1955 for the following courses commencing in July 2014 for grant
of Short Service Commission in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches.
Flying Officers will be entitled to Pay in Pay Band of Rs
15,600 - 39,100 per month along with Grade Pay, Military Service Pay, Dearness
Allowance, Kit Maintenance Allowance, Transport Allowance. In addition, other
allowances are applicable based on nature of duty / place of posting and would
include Flying Allowance, Technical Allowance, Field Area Allowance, Special
Compensatory (Hill area) Allowance, Special Force Allowance, Siachin Allowance,
Island Special Duty Allowance, Test Pilot & Flight Test Engineer Allowance, Hard
Area Allowance and Remote Locality Allowance. On successful completion of
Training, the newly Commissioned Flying Officers would be entitled to
approximate gross monthly emoluments in different branches including Transport
Allowance of major cities as given below:-
Press Release - Result of National Eligibility Cum Entrance
Test-UG, 2013
The Central Board of Secondary Education is pleased to
declare the result of the first National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-UG, 2013.
Among the registered candidates, a total of 717127 candidates were
eligible to appear in the NEET-UG, 2013, out of which 658040 candidates appeared
in the test and 366317candidates have qualified the test. The test was
conducted at 1251 examination centres located in 85 cities all over India
and abroad.
The Candidate can either apply online or download the offline
form and send the form to Regional Office concerned with requisite fee. The
verification fee per subject is Rs. 200/- (Rs.300/- for urgent verification.
Candidate can apply for urgent verification within five day from the date of
declaration of result)
CBSE Inter School Sports & Games Competitions 2013-14
The Board organises CBSE Inter School Sports & Games
Competitions in as many as 20 disciplines for the benefit of its students’ of
over 9000 Independent Category of Schools affiliated to it. For being successful
in life, sports play an important role as it develop interpersonal relationship,
respect for others, sense of sharing, tolerance, team spirit, will &
determination to win, face success & failures in equal proportion, stress
management and make one learn to follow rules to lead a disciplined life.
Last year the step initiated by the Board for creating better
transparency in its sports by introducing the Dope Test has been well
received by the participating schools. This year the Board is pleased to
announce that the Principal & the Organizing Secretary of all such schools that
organize the CBSE Inter School Sports & Games Competitions at any of the
levels would be recognized at National Level by the Board for their
contribution for the promotion of Sports & Games at grass-root level. The Board
intends to plan the CBSE Inter School Sports & Games Competitions Calendar for
the year 2013-14. To make it even more transparent, the schools this year
thus must apply online to organise any of these competitions and also
register online its participating students with the Board. I earnestly
request all the Principals to initiate & join hands with the Board by organising
these competitions. I) The schools that wish to organise any of the
competitions, shall first register themselves & fill-in the proforma
following these steps:
