INVITES APPLICATIONS FROM
UNMARRIED MALE CANDIDATE FOR GROUP X (TECHNICAL) TRADES
Indian Air Force invites application from UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS
(citizens of Nepal are also eligible) for selection test in August 2013 to join
as Airmen in Group X (Technical) trades.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
(a) Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination with Mathematics,
Physics and English, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in
English.
OR
(b) Three year Diploma Course in Engineering
(Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation
Technology/Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic
Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English
in Diploma or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is
not a subject in Diploma.
AGE LIMIT.
Candidate should be born between: 01 September 1993 to 30 December 1996 (both days inclusive).
This year onwards, admissions to undergraduate programmes at
all IITs and ISM, Dhanbad, will be through the JEE (Advanced) examination. This
year, it will be held on Sunday, 2 June, 2013.
Class 11 students of the Central Board of Secondary
Education (CBSE) can study law, theatre and be a part of the National Cadet
Corps (NCC).
Starting this academic year, Class 11 students of the Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE) can study law, theatre and be a part of the National
Cadet Corps (NCC).
The Board has introduced electives in these three modules on a pilot basis
for the academic year of 2013-14. Class 12 students will be able to opt for them
in the following year.
Currently the electives, carrying 100 marks each, will be offered on a
first-cum-first serve basis to nearly 20 selected schools. Depending on the
success of the pilot, they will be made permanent in the curriculum.
